Fet with no symptoms: Hello,I am day... - Fertility Network UK
Fet with no symptoms
Hi. I know it's such a hard time but please try not to be worried if you don't "feel anything"... when I went through my FET last year a GP friend of mine told me not to expect to feel anything because it was far too early in the process (technically in an ordinary cycle your period would still be nearly 2 weeks away...). It's also complicated by the effects of the progesterone (and oestrogen in a medicated frozen cycle) so you don't only have your own natural hormones to work with. It really is a horrible time but try and keep yourself occupied with other things... easier said than done I know - I had a lot of "cake dates" during my 2ww and watched multiple box sets!
I had egg collection on Friday and will hopefully be having ET on Wednesday - I'm sure I will struggle to take my own advice then and will be symptom spotting for Britain 😉
Good luck!! xxx
It’s really far too early for symptoms at this stage. Sit tight. Good luck for otd xx
Thanks😀
Hello - I'm 3dp5dt today. Absolutely 0 symptoms. Can't even name one even if I'm symptom hunting. I'm glad you have posted this as I'm already preparing for the worst. I was up all night thinking about this and hadn't had much rest 😥. This 2ww is a lot tougher than I thought, but I know we will get through this! Hopefully with some positive results too! Good luck x
I think we have to wait for some days to show up any symptoms, embryo are like little drop,so what we can expect from them.just hope for the best.my best wishes are with you.😀😀😀
Implantation may not even be complete as -24-48 minimum and I certainly have never felt symptoms until last few days of 2ww and even then I only had slightly sore boobs off and on. No cramping, nausea nothing and no implantation pain etc. I’m 19 weeks pregnant and symptoms started at 8 weeks for me. Keep busy and try not to stress!! Good luck x
Thanks you are gr8 support for us.my good wishes for you and the little baby inside you.❤️❤️❤️
Makes me happy if I can comfort and help anyone!! Been there with the worry and stressing too many times. Stay positive 😘🙏🏼🤞🏼Xxx
Hi Natalia, did you have implantation bleeding?
Hi Mifkipi, I’ve been pregnant 6 times and never had implantation bleeding. I did bleed a bit this last time in March towards the end of my 2ww but it turned out to be because I wasn’t taking a high enough dose of progesterone pessaries. I had spotting for a few days then bright red blood which terrified me. I was put on immediate bedrest and it stopped the same day as I took double dose of Cyclogest x
Thank you for letting me know. I was so relaxed after the transfer until I still have zero symptoms after 3 days. Sounds like that is rather common so I will try to relax a few more days before I start worrying again! Best of luck with your journey x
I'm 9dp5dt and hacen't really had anything apart from slight lower back ache for the last few days and that can be caused by the pesssaries. Only from yesterday afternoon and a bit today I've had some slight light brown discharge (Sorry tmi) and my test day is Wednesday please don't worry xx
Hi Cc2018, sorry for hijacking this post but when did the brown discharge happen? Best of luck xx
It started a little bit yesterday afternoon and some today so days 8 and 9 post transfer. Test day is Wednesday. Hope you're ok xx
Brown discharge sounds like a good sign (as long as not bright red). Best of luck x this 2ww is absolutely killing me!
It's our first ivf and we've never been pregnant so everything seems questionable. It felt like we were waiting forever to get started after over a year of tests and on the nhs waiting list ( We only get 1 cycle so everything feels more pressured). The treatment itself flew by despite being on long protocol and the tee hasn't been too bad as I had my last week of work before the 6 weeks and still had loads of stuff to do (secondary school teacher) including catching up on work from when I had two days off from egg collection the week before! We've only let our parents and my sister know- we're very close and my dh's sister have both gotten pregnant during the time we've been trying and I didn't want to make anyone feel awkward. Hope the tww flies by for you and thank you for your response xx
This is also my first IVF...we spent a lot of time with the gynecologist which delayed things for 1.5 years. I have endometriosis. All my friends around us have gotten pregnant (some even within 1st month of trying). It just had been really tough and IVF had been the centre of our lives ever since it started. I am prepared for a bfn but I think I will be absolutely devastated when it actually happens. The fact that I have absolute zero symptoms despite only 3dp5dt is driving me up the roof making me lose sleep already I hope we soon get the bfp we deserve xx
