HCG rising but not doubling.. help!

hi all

i’ve been having my beta hcg done following my positive test, for reassurance.

my HCG was doubling great in the first week, however now it is in the thousands, it is rising but not doubling. Is this normal???

- 127.5 hcg 05/02/24 (7dpt)

- 203.5 hcg 06/02/24 (8dpt)

- 394.5 hcg 07/02/2024 (9dpt) 4 wks pregnant

- 986 hcg 09/02/2024 (11dpt)

- 2604 hcg 12/02/2024 (14dpt)

- 4089 hcg 14/02/2024 (16dpt) 5wks pregnant

- 7079 hcg 16/02/2024 (18dpt)

Hey lovely - doubling times are looking good and the slow down once it hits 6,000 mlU/ml is completely normal and expected. If the levels are above 6000, it may take four or more days for the values to double. As long as it continues to rise (albeit at a slower rate), that's as good as the beta numbers can look at this stage x

agree with other poster the increase slows down as levels get higher but these are great numbers!! Congrats xx

Yes, this all looks about right 💜 congratulations! Now your numbers are likely over the 10k mark it will be the scans that give you the most info rather than HCG tests so hopefully not too long to wait for that 🤗 wishing you a happy and healthy rest of your pregnancy xx
