14dpt cramping and back aching -I am worried it’s over

So I tested positive from 6dpt tests have got slightly darker but not what I thought they would be by 14dpt Up until yesterday I had the odd twinge, cramp upper back pain and tingling in breasts every so often. But since last night 13dpt I started to get a really achy lower back pain and then period like cramping with what felt like throbbing pain near my right ovary. This went on pretty much all night on and off. Then this morning 14dpt, I woke up with the same achy lower back pain and cramping that wont go away, my breasts don’t hurt anymore and I just have the horrible feeling that this is the start of another dreaded MC. The constant back pain and cramping is how it started last time round. Just feeling miserable and broken. 😥

My BHCG is booked for tomorrow but to be fair even if it’s high it won’t give me peace of mind as the last time I got 1262 on 12dpt blood draw and this went up to 14409 a few days later and then the same night I got my hcg level back I began to bleed heavily.

sorry to hear you are worrying. I would say these lines look pretty good and the 2-3 wks is what you’d expect at this stage? Sorry it’s just horrible the waiting isn’t it, I think the only think you could do is sets of bloods to see if levels are rising? As it’s too early for a scan.

I hope the cramping calms down, could you take some paracetamol to see if it eases off a bit? I know how worrying it is getting symptoms like that but it can also be normal to get cramping too x

Thank you, it just doesn’t feel right, and reading online that back pain is one of the first signs and having experienced this type of pain the last time I am not holding out much hope. Thank you for reaching out to me it’s much appreciated. ❤️

It may just be the uterus stretching and nothing to worry about especially if you don’t have any spotting either!! I have had some cramps here and there too, totally understand the worry though xx

The lines and progression look good, and it's great you're getting a blood test. Plus the symptoms really can mean nothing and usually at this stage it's just the meds (the symptoms have never meant anything with mine, successful or not, and every transfer and pregnancy has been completely different). But you've been here before and if your levels went above 14,000 then the line progression and increased HCG may not be enough to reassure you, which is understandable. I think just trying to have faith that each time is a new chance, starting from scratch and just because it happened once doesn't mean it will happen again, or even after two or three times... are you getting progesterone monitored?

It’s just so difficult not to get sucked into the worry as the past two weeks I’ve never had constant back ache. It started last night and hasn’t gone even now. I was put on prontogest injections every 3 days a week before my FET and have been on 3 cyclogest pessaries since then also. I actually asked the nurse at my clinic yesterday if my progesterone level can be checked and the same time as my HCG but as I have issues with it being low on the past 2 transfers. She told me that without a clinical reason she couldn’t request checking the progesterone level especially as it was above 50 day of my transfer. I started to spot around 14dpt last time and it went on until 19th when it all finally got worse. I’m trying to remain positive but at the same time reading online everywhere that lower back ache is a sign of MC and having experienced it myself I am also trying to be very realistic as to what maybe coming. 😥 thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to me. ❤️

The clinics really can be unhelpful. The clinical and medical need is that you're having worrying symptoms and you've had a prior loss. Ask to speak to a consultant. Failing that, can you ask your GP or get it done privately (Medichecks is an online lab that I used, but there would be a delay)? It may be totally unrelated of course, I just now want everything checked so if there's anything that can be done it's picked up early, or if not, I know and I have some more information for the next time. I really hope it is all OK this time buy I know how worried you will be so just get through it day by day x

Thank you , the clinic emailed me today to tell me that the doctor authorised the progesterone check also. So now all I can really do is sit and wait for them to call me with my first HCG levels 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽 and like you said trying to take it day by day for now! ❤️

Hey, just to give you some hope. I had non stop cramping while I was on progesteron. At 11 weeks I even started bleeding with cramps and lower back pain but I'm still pregnant (currently 17 weeks). Unfortunately all you can do is wait and hope for the best. 🤞🏼

these sound like normal pregnancy symptoms. I know you’re anxious. Praying everything is ok

So many symptoms could mean either way. Your lines and progression looks great, really strong. I really wouldn't worry unless you have a reason to (ie significant bleeding). Even mild cramps can be a normal pregnancy symptom. I know it's so hard but stop testing and try not to worry. You're pregnant. Xx
