This question is for those who managed to conceive at or above 40.

Do you think any supplement contributed your positive result?

I think it has a positive contribution but hard to identify exactly what as there are always so many variables at play.

Which ones are you currently taking? Or do you need some advice on this? X

I am seeking advice. I use vitamine D only.

Supplements I took to improve quality of egg, included probiotics, pregnacare preconception, omega 3, extra vit d, royal jelly and ubliquinol. My doc did put me on DHEA and I was monitored.

I had FET, in prep I took folate, Pregnacare conception, extra vit d, omega 3, bcomplex, vit e to help with lining and stopped once transferred, probiotics and iron with vit c as I’m vegetarian and my levels tend to be lower. I did also use canesflor the vaginal probiotics as well.

Currently 29wks+2.

Good luck x

Thank you for the info. Congrats on your miracle! This is giving me hope on a particularly rough day (my birthday). I was curious what form of royal jelly did you take?

Happy happy birthday, sorry that’s it’s challenging for you. I took something like this genhealthcare.co.uk/product...

It’s been a while but I remember them being in this capsule type packaging. X

I am taking ubiquinol and Vit D along with bassets pregnancy vitamins. Started last year after 1st miscarriage in may. Had a further 3 pregnancies 2 were chemical and a further loss at 6 weeks in November. Hard to see whether they do work or not. I’ve also just bought inositol as I’ve heard it’s good for egg quality and pcos ( which I’ve not been told I have) basically trying anything!

I’m 43 on the list for tests giving it this month then paying for private testing . I won’t qualify for IVF on NHS but will make the decision once I know what I’m dealing with .

positively I have become pregnant 4 times naturally at 42/43 so that is something.

Good luck with it all

Currently 2DPO on cycle 14 so 🤞🤞🤞🤞
