I'm 34 years old and we've been struggling with infertility for 2 years now. IVF has been rough on me. I'm trying to stay positive but it's been hard. I have 1 3bb 5 days. 1 4bb and 2 4cc 6 days embryo. This is my first ivf, I'm trying to stay positive.
How do you manage work and this constant overthinking about what we are going through.
Going about my day to day has been rough.
If any of you could share successfull stories with slower developing embryos 4bb 4cc that would be helpful.
Do you think they will transfer my 5 days 3bb first? Or my day 6 4bb?
Thank you all so much for writing in this blog.
Finding this blog has helped me lift my spirit.

I kept working as otherwise I’d just think about it too much! I work in a hospital and am on my feet most of the day. Physically I don’t think it makes a difference, if the embryo is going to stick it will. Take time off if you feel you need it to mentally prepare/process, but I preferred to have the distraction of work. Good luck!
we weren’t given the same type of grading but my day 6 fully expanded blast which was graded 2 out of 4 (1 being the best) is now a healthy 7 months old.
All the better graded ones failed. Fingers crossed for you!
Thank you so much for replying, it gives me hope. For some reason I believe my 6 days embryos are girls that just took their time to develop. My husband helps, he is a very positive person. The fully expanded part, we only know when they prepare them for transfer after being frozen right?
The grading part changes once they thaw too to my knowledge as I did have one that improved and “hatched” once thawed in a previous round. Really not worth paying attention to though as I did have one very good day 5 that didn’t implant, a better day 5 that was a chemical!
Our surrogate is 34 weeks pregnant with one of our day 5 3bb's. 💙 In my experience, (at my clinic, I'm not sure about others) they like to use the day 5's first as they have a slightly higher success rate. Good luck x
Congratulations that such a blessing. One question did they transfered both at the same time? I read lots of post saying they transferred two embryos. Is it beacause it increase the chances of success?
Our embryo that wasn’t good enough quality to freeze is currently sleeping upstairs, try not to focus too much on grading. You have embryos which is a great achievement! Sending lots of luck x
You are totally right. I will forget the gradings and believe it's possible. Sending good vibes to u aswell. Keep strong. Given time you will achieve that healthy baby you are fighting for.
Thank you! The point I was sharing was that one of our embryos believed to not be good enough to freeze was successful for us, so we have been very fortunate to be lucky in our IVF journey Best of luck for your next steps xx
I have a beautiful and healthy little girl from a day 5 3BC! So don’t get too caught up on the egg grading. I know it’s a really hard time but try stay positive, try not Google things too much or overthink every thing. Just keep your mind distracted with healthy and positive things. Get into a good book, start a puzzle or even start yoga, anything that takes you away from your own worrying thoughts. Sending you lots of love and strength Xxx
wishing you the best. I have a 5 day 3AB and a 6 day 4AA. My clinic said they will transfer for the 5 day first. We are waiting on that. They are tested normal embryos.
