I am on my fourth cycle, without ever having seen those two lines. It has been another agonising wait to see if we got any blasts.
Yesterday (Day 5) I thought it was all over with early blasts, but today our little embryos made it to Day 6 and were suitable for PGS testing. We also did assisted hatching. Now another 1 - 2 weeks to see if any of the embryos are normal.
Has anyone had PGS testing on Day 6 embryos? Any successes? Experiences? I am 37 years old, how many should I expect are abnormal/normal?
We had three blasts in the end, one from day 5 and two from day 6. All came back PGS normal. The embryologist said it doesn’t matter when they get there, as long as they get there. Wishing you the best of luck for your PGS results and hope the wait isn’t too long x
Thank you 😊 I honestly don’t know, I just know they transferred one. My clinic doesn’t give out gradings, just tells you what stage the blasts were at, mine were all hatching.
I do have a friend that’s pregnant with a day 6 blast though. Her day 5 one didn’t work x
They actually transferred a double a five day blastocyst but I know that there are another two embryos frozen better day six but I don’t know that grading I had six out of nine embryos come back healthy after PGS testing, I hope this helps

I only got 3 follicles that were collected. All 3 embryos made it to day 5 blastocyst on the 6th day we did pgs testing. 2 came back normal. We put both in and im currently 8weeks pregnant.

Thank you so much! Can I ask why they didn't test them on Day 5? Is it because they were early blastocysts? So they were both frozen on Day 6?
