To update since my last post, I’m currently 6+3 with painfully slow rising HCG… Need some positive stories that are similar to mine as I can’t bear this limbo!
I transferred x2 day 7 embryos on the 4th Dec via FET. My betas have been as follows:
15.12 - 11dp7dt - 33
18.22 - 14dp7dt - 56
20.12 - 16dp7dt - 94
28.12 - 24dp7dt - 761
30.12 - 26dp7dt - 1253
I had a scan on the 28th and they couldn’t see anything. She said if the HCG was below 1500 that it’s normal not to see anything, but what I don’t think is normal is to have lower than 1500 HCG at 6 weeks but she really didn’t seem phased. She was most concerned with how it doubles and it seems I’m closer to doubling every 64 hours rather than 48.
I’ve also been spotting slightly (brown or bright red) for the past week… next steps are to go back on Tuesday and re-test and scan. I’ll be 6+6 then.
Does anyone have anything positive to share that can give me some hope?

Hi, it was surprising. They found 2 sacs but both measuring at 5 weeks when I should have been 6+6. They have said it’s not over yet and are wondering if they have implanted late. They couldn’t seen an embryo in either but my HCG increases also match the timeline so they have said to come back in 10 days for another scan to see if they have grown or if I’m miscarrying. She couldn’t see any reason for the bleeding on the scan so told me not to worry but can’t help feel it’s over… but let’s see x
Oh that is surprising x let’s hope it is a late implantation 🤞🏼 it’s such a stressful time isn’t it, do as much as you can in-between now and then to relax although I know it will be near impossible & don’t give up hope 🫶🏼 x
Hello to update since I’ve searched on so many previous posts looking for the final outcomes I wanted to make sure I close the loop on this one. Sadly it’s not good news for us. The scan yesterday showed the sacs had grown slightly and one showed a yolk sac but neither are anywhere near the size they should be so they have called it as a missed miscarriage. I’ll be having surgical management on Tuesday so that they can collect the pregnancy tissue and send it off for testing as this is now my 3rd miscarriage 💔 hoping we will get some answers as not sure I can go through this again. Best of luck for anyone in a similar position xx
So sorry this happened. If it helps in any small way, I found the surgery very straightforward and I recovered physically almost immediately, and I ovulated again three weeks later. And that was at 10 weeks with a PUL and other issues so could have been quite complex. They tested the tissue and didn't find anything, 'just one of those things' (don't know if that was better or worse, or didn't change anything really). Also I'd had two prior losses so that was number three for me too but I am now 6mnths pregnant (conceived only a few months after the PUL) so although it's horrendous and after multiple times it gets pretty bleak, but it doesn't mean it will happen again.or that you won't have success. For now just take care x
