6dp5dt negative test and feeling terrible

I had a fresh embryo transfer on Monday last week. So I’m 6dp5dt and got a negative on a test this morning. It was a sensitive one, not a cheapie.

I had severe cramps and backache on 4dp and 5dp but today it’s really eased off and now I’ve just got backache. My boobs also aren’t sore anymore either.

I really would have expected to see a positive by now, am I out? Is it over for me?

hello, you’re not out at all. Wait another 48 hours and test again with first morning urine, you should be able to see a positive by then on a sensitive test. Personally I don’t test any earlier than 9dp5dt. All the best of luck xx

Hi. I'm in the same situation, transfer last Monday, had lots of symptoms a few days after like sore boobs and cramps and now literally everything has eased off and I'm getting night sweats. I know a pregnancy test can be unreliable at this stage so I've not tried but hoping to do blood test soon to confirm either way. Can't help but feel a bit deflated too but don't give up! You might just have a late implanter and it takes time for hcg to rise. Good luck to us both!!!

I transferred on 24th. I’ve never tested really early but you saying everyday from 3 days makes me wonder if that’s easier to do it every day expected a negative to start with rather than waiting till later and seeing a negative. How do you feel about it?

Angry to be honest as my husband isn’t very supportive . He didn’t want to do the cycle anyway . We fell out this morning over it , him saying it was a waste of money. We are private and our clinic is very expensive . We did one round and got 3 blasts so I certainly don’t think it was a waste . I just want to stop the pessarys as they are giving me a bad tummy . Did you test ? I’m assuming not ? You have way more control than me 💜 xxx

this is a godsend where I can put my feelings down . 3 embryos out of 9 mature eggs retrieved. I can’t believe he said it was a waste of money . We have two on ice x

I was the same , cramps from the day of transfer up until around 3 days after then nothing . It’s perfectly normal to drive yourself mad on the tww. For the frozen cycles I plan to do in jan my husband has been told to ban me from pregnancy tests until otd x
