Hello I am wondering if someone would be able to share details/ recommend good clinics in Spain from personal experience?
Currently looking at Spain for egg donation after failed ICSIs and it is quite daunting..
Generally wondering about overall cost (and what costs are hidden)/ any questions I should ask/ how many transfers were needed/ why you selected that clinic over others/ level of care/ process / were you successful and does the child really resemble you??. Anything you have to share would be much appreciated 🙏

Sorry also meant to ask what level of information do you get about the egg donor, if any? Very curious about this. I appreciate that it’s all anonymous but is generic information shared?
Hi Lina, my egg donor baby from Spain is asleep on my shoulder right now 💕💕 after many failed attempts before. Message me for clinic info which I'm happy to share, in terms of donor info I got: hair colour, eye colour, history of fertility, educated to degree level, skin colour. I knew that they also use an algorithm with my own face to determine the best match in their database for similar looks.
hello we went to Spain for double donor and she is currently sound asleep beside me. After a number of failed rounds. She is just perfect and the spitting image of my niece. We could not fault our clinic at all. There were no hidden costs they were very up front with the prices right from the start. We got age hair eye colour ethnicity and blood type you could have more info if you wanted but we were happy with that. They also matched to our faces.
We were recommended the clinic from a friend who had been successful there it was also an easy place to fly to from Scotland.
I would ask how many eggs you are guaranteed to get (minimum) I would also ask if there are previous children from this donor and their reason for donating.
Donation seems like a daunting route to go down but honestly we don’t think about it at all any more our little girl is ours resembles us and completes our family. If someone gives you an egg to make a cake … it’s your cake xxx
Your response made me and my husband laugh out loud, so thanks for that and the info. Its good to hear from someone who has done this and been successful. Does previous children from the donor means better egg quality? Is that the thought process? Would you mind sharing the details of the clinic and roughly how much it cost? Did you go for a package and how many transfers did you need. ED success rates seem much better than using my own eggs. Thank you again for sharing
