Feeling devastated, circle cancelled.

Hello

Today my circle have been cancelled due to poor follicle growth ,I don’t know what do any more for my next circle to work out as this is my 3rd circle and no success yet.,I’m 34 with very low egg reserve.Any advice will appreciate.

Hi KHMSJ. So sorry to hear this, but really it’s the best solution when follicles don’t grow enough. I’m sure they will be able to change your medication to hopefully get the next cycle to yield a much better result. I shall be thinking of you and let’s hope your next cycle will be the one. Diane

Firstly, I’m so so sorry. We know what cancelled cycles and low AMH, low response feels like.

We consistently got 2 or 3 follicles/ eggs for 4 consecutive cycles, then managed to get 6 from our last round.

Things we tried

- DHEA for a year now

- coenzyme q10

- high protein diet, 10k steps everyday

- switching up the protocol! A combined Gonal f (225) and Menopur (150) gave us our 6!

Thanks Whattheivf for responding,I have been on DHEA and Ubiquinol for 8 months now,Also changed my diet to high protein and low carbs and no sugar, on this protocol i was on Gonal f 225 for 14 days.

Ok that’s good. I would honestly say just hang in there for the better cycle. Unfortunately it seems that there is so much sheer luck involved!
