Egg collection

Well that was easier than I anticipated…. In and out within 2 hours!… 19 eggs collected but they haven’t phoned to tell me how many are mature (is no news good news?!)

And the clock begins to the next step, if any how many fertilised?

It's usually 24 hours before you hear about those that have fertilised... Good luck, 19 is an amazing amount

I recently had 7 eggs, only 2 fertilised but have been put back in today. ..so deffo a waiting game!

amazing news! I have my collection soon, what is the procedure like? I’m terrified!

I was bricking it also! They brought through and did some test like bp and temp, put a cannula in my hand, I changed into a gown, shortly after brought me through to a theatre room which was really chilled, they were just chatting away and next thing you know I was waking up back in the recovery room with a cup of tea and a biscuit 🤣 was only there for 2 hours from entering and leaving! I took headphones to listen to music but my nurse and I were just chatting so didn’t get a chance to listen to music… I was very grateful for this however as I was very anxious and she was a star at distracting me!
