use of omnitrope in ivf

Just wondered if any IVFers out there have been recommended omnitrope or used it? Especially in UK? Seems my friend in US recently used it and added some success level to their next steps so I’m curious! Thanks

I used a different brand of HGH - there are several, not sure there is any difference for IVF - and did it in the UK. I had to convince my clinic with some published research studies as the evidence is sparse but there for my situation. It made a big difference for me… after 4 failed cycles we had our daughter from our 5th cycle and then our son from our one frostie 😊

I will speak to my consultant about it. I can see there was a study even in 2021 but as you say it’s limited.

There are a few but they’re small and with different protocols so a bit difficult to navigate. Most are in DOR but a handful in people with otherwise unexplained infertility and multiple failures / failure to get to blastocyst which was my issue. Good luck xx

Adding omnitrope made a huge difference for me. I used it on my 4th ivf cycle and it resulted in my 5 month old now. I was 39 years old when i did the 4th cycle and ended up with 20 eggs, 19 mature, 16 fertilized, 6 blastocyst and 2 pgs normal embryos.

What day of your cycle did you start omnitrope? Congratulation

I started on the second day of my cycle and used 25ml IU daily for 10 days.

I was on the high dose protocol. 450 IU of menopur daily, did not use gonal-f at all.
