Hi Tamtam1. Can’t really comment on this, but I would have thought that a good healthy diet would be all that you need with perhaps a few extra Brazil nuts and beans thrown in. Obviously, it’s up to you what you take, but I would check with your GP/clinic first just to make sure that all the ingredients are safe to take. All the best with your cycle when it starts. Diane

Thanks Diane

I physically don't think I can prepare anymore than I am.

All the high fibre vega and fruits in smoothies 2 daily

Fish veg meat and Brazil nuts daily

Baby aspirin and acupuncture

Ex cerise and green tea and raspberry tea daily

Water daily and a lot of hope in there too.

Oh and pregnacare to top that's 🙈

Hi Tamtam1, I've been using them as I don't eat a lot of meat. They weren't expecting me to get more than 10 eggs, we got 13, I was egg sharing so I got 7 eggs, of which 6 were mature, 3 fertilised, we had a 5 day blastocyst transfer on Monday with one embryo that was already hatching, 1 top quality blastocyst has been frozen and one stopped developing after 3 days.

I made sure I ate a lot more protein, used protein shakes with almond milk, eat nuts and during stimms had a hot water bottle on my stomach every night- it's been a warm August ha! Hope this helps. Good Luck x

I used the Forever Lite Ultra shakes- you can get them in Chocolate or Vanilla. Before I started treatment I read that a detox was good so I joined Forever as a distributor and my husband and I did C9. We have both continued with the same shakes. I've included link below. There a lot of shakes out there it's quite daunting to know which is best.

I have a shake most mornings with whey protein powder in it. But that's instead of breakfast. I have been doing for the last 6 months or so, but I've been trying to cut down on carbs (though now I'm on 2ww have increased carbs a bit to get a more balanced diet). I don't know if it helps but it certainly shouldn't hurt. If you are going to use one though use one that is just protein powder without anything else added in.

I have used the Forever Lite Ultra shakes too, but I stopped as I read that you should cut out soya from your diet (I was drinking soya milk too, so switched to almond milk). Many shakes are soya based so I found a natural alternative from Holland & Barrett, Barham & Murray Natural Hemp Protein, it tastes disgusting but I have one almost every morning for breakfast to boost my protein intake. However, like Diane says a good diet should be adequate.

Good luck xx

Thanks for the response ladies tbh I don't think there is much else I can do. Will see what my new consultant says, hopefully start sept after ma bday but I be 41 😞

Hi. Sorry for the late reply, only work Monday, Wednesday & Friday. From what you are saying, you seem to be looking after yourself really well, so I would just carry on with what you are already doing. Not too long to wait until you see your consultant - and don't worry too much about your age. I have quite a few ladies who are pregnant between the ages of 40-43 so fingers crossed for you too. If I haven't already done so, and you would like me to, I could send you a list of questions to have a look through, before you see your consultant, just in case there might be one or two you didn't think to ask. My emails are confidential, so if you let me know on dianearnold@infertilitynetworkuk.com I will send them to you. Diane
