Just wondering if anyone has try taking buscopan before an embryo transfer? The reason behind it being to reduce uterine contractions. My worry with this, though, is, will it Relax my muscles too much and give me the poops lol.Just wondered what dose you took, how many times a day and what kind as there are different ones? And for how long.

I used it for both of my successful transfers. Buscopan won’t give you diarrhoea, in fact it’s more likely to cause constipation. I took 20mg 30 mins before transfer then 10mg twice a day for 3-4 days. The buscopan you can buy is actually all the same, it is just the package insert is slightly different depending on who it’s aimed at. They should all be 10mg hyoscine butylbromide Xx

I used it. I can't remember the dose and I have to admit this was on my own research that I discovered this.xxx
