Hi everyone, I’m getting ready to do an ERA in the next week or so. I had a fail FET Monday 😞… I was wondering if anyone has tried the organic, chemical free route. I’m willing to try anything to get pregnant. If so, what body products such as lotion, body wash, deodorant did you use? As far as food did you cut anything out such as dairy, gluten, etc. and did it work?

Hi! I am really sorry about your failed FET :( I changed a lot of things after my failed FET too. Have you read 'It all starts with the egg'? A lot of helpful lifestyle and dietary advice there. In terms of body products, I am getting on quite well with Urtekram's fragrance free body wash and body lotion - they are a Nordic company I found on Amazon. I am also using organic olive oil hair shampoo and mask and switched to Ecover for kitchen washing products. Eliminated plastic tubs in the kitchen too in favour of glass ones. Good luck with the next round!

So sorry to hear about your FET. I’m about to start my first IVF cycle. About a year into trying naturally I changed my diet. There are loads of fertility nutritionists on Instagram giving free advice. Then at the start of this year I decided to reduce my toxic exposure as well. I’ve just made some simple switches I’ve not gone too mad. I’ve binned all my plastic food storage containers and got glass ones, I’ve stopped using perfume, I’m using Salt of the Earth natural deodorant and Simple body wash. I’m also making my own toxic-free cleaning products with recipes from Nancy Birtwhistle (it’s really not as hard as you might think). It obviously didn’t help me fall pregnant naturally but I hope it’s going to improve my IVF chances. Good luck x

hi I hope you’re well. I’ve only made the switch before embryo transfer after being told that normal daily products with fragrance could damage the embryo and to avoid those on transfer day, so then I thought it may help for implantation. As a result I’m now using simple body wash, Waitrose pure non fragrance shampoo and conditioner, Jason deodorant. Also have changed the cleaning products to eco ones. Avoiding heating/storing food in plastic. Diet wise I just tried to be healthy and balanced, I was already on a low gluten diet because other reasons, e.g. I tried to eat only slow made sourdough type of bread occasionally. To be honest I cannot tell whether it worked or not 😂, I’m currently waiting for viability scan next Tuesday 🤞🏼🤞🏼.

Wishing you all the best in your journey xx
