I had a query ectopic that eventually resolved itself at 7 weeks. They aren’t sure whether it actually was ectopic in the end - but couldn’t see anything in my uterus and my HCG was around 600 at its highest. My symptoms were spotting/bleeding from about 9dp5dt….then HCG that was doing very weird things. It stayed low for ages, then suddenly shot up, then started doubling, then wasn’t quite doubling but rising still. Then plateaued. Then eventually started falling after another slight bleed. I was having scans and bloods every two days to try and work out what was going on!

thank you for sharing, did you experience any aches or cramps ?

none of the obvious ones. Spotting (but not constant), no pregnancy symptoms (other than feeling tired), clear blue digital not changing/lines not getting darker, hcg rising but low for gestation and not doubling, scan not showing anything in the uterus/pregnancy of unknown location. Honestly if it wasn’t for my previous losses and just having a “feeling” something wasn’t right- I wouldn’t have had a clue and probably ended up becoming very poorly.

Hope you’re okay xx

Thank you for sharing. The past two days I’ve had a dull tingling feeling (feels like on my pelvis bones), then dull aches in my arm. Yesterday I had a dark (coffee looking) brown bleed in a panty liner and then just felt achey. I vomited this morning while brushing my teeth. I don’t see any spotting or bleeding yet today.

If you are worried it’s best to be under the care of your EPU and they can monitor you. I’ve had 2. First one bleeding and slow rising hcg - it took a while to diagnose. 2nd one bleeding, diarrhoea, normal doubling hcg, pain when peeing, and finally pain on one side - this one was spotted straight away.

thanks for sharing, I’ve had the dull ache on one side then it moved to the other side and then just in my back.

I had an early ectopic, I was coming up to 6 weeks. I got sudden intense cramping, which was mainly on one side, followed by bright red bleeding. I didn't have any shoulder pain or any other symptoms really, other than a lack of appetite and my pregnancy symptoms lessened.

Sending love and strength to you. x

Oh that is weird, haven't heard of that. How many weeks are you?My symptoms were on a Sunday, I phoned EPU and they sent me to A&E- I sat there for hours and hours to be told no-one to scan me so come back Monday afternoon. I would avoid going on a Sunday again, unless you're further along in which case it might be more of an emergency x

Hi Novbby,

I had cramps (started off light and gradually got stronger and stronger, especially on one side) dizziness, a bit of bleeding, light positive line on the pregnancy test and when it got really bad shoulder tip pain/nausea and a spaced out feeling.

If you suspect something, definitely see a medical professional. I left mine without seeing a doctor for far too long and it was pretty horrible.

Hope you’re all good xx

Really hope you aren't going through this! First one I had I was unaware of the TTC world so just thought I was pregnant and was happy but then the sweating, bad cramps on one side and feeling really dizzy/sick started. Ended up in hospital with the tube removed as it had ruptured.

2nd one I knew to go to the EPU as soon as I got a positive, just in case. I had no symptoms except maybe a few early pregnancy ones like sore boobs but we caught that super early and I was able to medically manage it without surgery (pre-rupture). So I guess it depends on how far along you are and if it's ruptured. I think you mostly get the severe pain and or bleeding after it ruptures.

If you suspect it is ectopic, go to your doctor or hospital immediate as it can be super dangerous leaving it! Sending lots of love your way.

thank you so much, the aches seems to be on my pelvis bone at the moment but figures crossed it’s nothing. Seems to get worse with gassy moments
