Increase cyclogest after bleed

So this morning I had a bleed which i feel is my period. On speaking to my clinic today the have doubled my cyclogest and told me i can test on day 12 as i had a day 5 transfer. I just feel like this is giving me false hope when i know my own body. Has anyone else experienced this? Am i right to think its all over yet again?

I’m so sorry…. In my head it really depends on the bleed. If it’s relatively gentle, might be worth giving it a chance. There are successful stories with 2WW bleed. But I’ve had a cycle where the bleed was so clearly my period I just stopped everything ….. but - it’s all about the path of least regret - don’t do something that will make you doubt later! If you can keep up with the meds for a few more days and see what happens that could be the best path 🤞 x

I had the same reservations when I was bleeding on my first transfer and they told me to persist with the progesterone which I felt prolonged and worsened my situation as I was having an ectopic. I just did a natural cycle instead (didn’t work but at least wasn’t ectopic!) I’m hoping that it does go ok for you x

Hi Icsi_journey. Still best to continue with prescribed medication then test when recommended, just in case. Of course it is so hard, so hopefully you have plenty of support around you just now. Thinking of you. Diane
