3rd Embryo transfer 🙏🏻 please help

Advice please!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I am preparing for

My 3rd FET. My second ended in a miscarriage at 7 weeks.

First transfer we put 1 embryo back in and it failed.

Second transfer we put 2 embryos back in, 1 did take but sadly I lost it at 7 weeks- with a heartbeat.

This will be our 3rd transfer and we have no idea wether or not to put 1 embryo back in or 2.

The doctor says because I’m 30, she thinks go for the 1. We still have 4 (day 6) embryos left. And we have 2 day 5 embryos left for the next transfer.

I’m tempted to put 2 back in as the last transfer worked and these are only grade 3BB embryos.

Any advice at all please help!!?? Thank you all so much 🙏🏻

Any luck with graded 3BB embryos? I am so scared after my miscarriage 😞

I am so sorry for your loss 😢 for your next round I would be tempted to do 2 day 6s if both graded 3BB but I’d be more tempted to use the day 5 ones first if they are graded better and maybe do one of those at a time? Xx

thank you xx

The two day 5’s are the 3BB graded ones and the 4 day 6’s are graded a lot higher, mainly 4’s and 5’s.

I’m just so stuck on wether to put the two day 5’s back in together? It’s such a hard decision isn’t it xxxx

yeah it really is I think with that many left and those gradings I would try 2 again but there really is no right or wrong answer 🙈 I’ve just went on my gut feeling usually and twice made the decision on the morning of! I have had 2 chemicals from double transfers and loads of BFNs from single transfers….except 1 single FET that worked and stuck so I really don’t think there is any rhyme or reason to it and can just be ‘luck’ sometimes xx

Hey I'm also preparing for 3rd FET were going for 2 this time our first round ended in miscarriage at 7 nearly 8 weeks.. 2nd just didn't take and they were both high grade embryos 4AAs. this time we are having 2 put back one at 2BB and one at 3BB.. after this if not successful we only have one left at a 6BB... I would definitely be tempted to go for 2 if you have a nice amount of embabies left, I'll be just 35 on transfer day birthday the 15th transfer the 20th. But if you fit, well and healthy I'd definitely be tempted for 2 xx

Same situation here, but my doctor said it's not allowed to put 2 embryos at the same time if under 37 years old under HEFA's regulation, is it correct? It's NHS clinic so not sure if they have their own special rule, I am 31 now

My clinic (private) didn't want to put 2 back on the first cycle or even the second but because this is our 3rd go he agreed we could have 2 put back and the embryos that are going back are mid range quality but if they were high grade quality he probably would of said no. I'm 35 next week and hoping for transfer on the 20th march, xx

I haven’t heard that they aren’t allowed. I have just heard that different clinics recommend different things and sometimes don’t like to put two in.

It’s such a hard one. In a way, I wish the clinic would make the choice for me! xx

it’s such a hard decision. I put 2 frozen embryos in when I was 31 both 5AA grades and one stuck which is now my 2.5 year old daughter. Since then I’ve had a failed FET one embryo, and I am having a transfer in 3 weeks. I have 5 embryos left. My husband thinks 2 but I think 1!

If youre gut feeling is 2 and they are good grades I would go for it! Good luck xx

Thank you so much for your words. It really is such a tough decision isn’t it.

my gut is telling me two. I did two last time and one did stick but we lost it at 7 weeks 😞 and I keep thinking did we lose it because we put two in? But the doctors say no as the other one didn’t stick at all xxx
