Colposcopy Treatment

Does anyone know if you can get this done privately in Scotland around the Glasgow area? Had my consent appointment yesterday but they said this is a concern and they would need to speak to medical team before proceeding with treatment. Which they might not be able to do until this is done. Currently having to wait 52 weeks for an appointment with NHS.

hi 👋🏼 what’s the reason for the colposcopy was it a bad smear? If so a 52 week wait would indicate they don’t have much concerns? I wonder if the consultant at the clinic that have asked for the colposcopy can write to the fertility clinic and say they are happy for you to proceed with fertility treatment. I’m Glasgow and I have known this to help the situation after a colposcopy and waiting for results etc so might be worth a try! Xx

It was results of my smear, yes it was low levels. I’m still waiting for the medical team to make a decision. Hopefully that’ll be the case 🤞
