Dual trigger tonight (intramuscular) 😬

Yeah I can trigger tonight (going to be a late one) for egg collection on Monday. My first collection (never thought I'd be here last week). It was initially excitement and relief that the time has finally come.

But now the panic has set in over the injections tonight. 250 Ovitrelle into skin - I can deal with. On the other hand the 0.5 triptorelin which goes into bum muscle is freaking me out. Nurse said if blood comes into the syringe then take it out and try other buttock.

Any last minute tips to deal with this injection?

Injections done with help from my sister. Bit of a panic though as a clump refused to melt away in the triptorelin bottle and then I forgot to tell her about sucking in a bit of air to check we'd not hit vien/artery before injecting the med. Injection went in and out with little feeling (the ice pack helped) which is a relief but then I couldn't see her do it.

Hopefully it doesn't matter too much that we were 15minutes late. Now for the egg collection on Monday 🤞🍰

just tell them when they ask abt the time you did the trigger and be honest as it is important
