Day 9 of stims on short antagonist protocol. Just had scan, 1 follicle is ready (19mm) and the other is below the threshold (13mm). Going in for another scan tomorrow to give little 1 a chance to catch up and then trigger/egg collection on Monday/Tuesday.
Wondering if there is anything I can do to boost the little one over next few days?
Is there any preparation for egg collection?

heya, I don’t have experience as I just had my first scan at 6 day stims today and she said ‘whatever you’re doing keep doing’ - I’ve been drinking a glass of pomegranate juice a day, drinking a smoothies with avocado, spinach, lots of berries and q10 mix plus 4000iu of vit D. The q10 mix you can get from Tesco. Wishing you luck xx
thanks Elsidee11. ive been on q10 and vitamins a while now so will continue with those. will up the pomegrate and smoothies. glad to hear all is goimg well with you xx
if you search castor oil the instructions and videos come up. A clean cotton and pour some castor oil on it and put it on your tommy close to womb and ovaries wrap yourself in plastic and put a medium heat pad or hot water bottle but b careful not very hot and not burn yourself
It encourages blood circulation and help follicles grow but just before trigger. After transfer not at all and not on menses!
I did risk and did another pack the day before retrieval one time but just bcuz doctor told me some of my follies stopped growing the day of trigger so I did to help them grow which they did and I went from 1 egg only to 4 mature retrieved however only one reached good quality 5 day blast
So if your follicles are big dont do castor oil and pls no massage just lying down with pack n heat for about half an hour bcuz its your first time and do it on modtly empty stomach bcuz you might get cramps n bowel movements a lot if stomach full aldo not much super activity after that same reason
