IVF lite help

hello ladies

It’s been a while for me but here I am again with some much needed reassurance.

I’ve started my IVF and I’m about 9 days into my STIMS (yay)

On Wednesday (day7) I had a scan to check the follicles - they said I had 9 dominant follicles and they were the exact size they were looking for at that time and we’re happy with the progress.

I went back today (48 hours later) for a re-scan to check their growth & out of the 9, only 1 had continued to grow, this was a huge set back for me (even if in reality it was only minor) as 48 hours prior they were perfect.

We discussed stopping my treatment and starting again next month but the doctor instead instructed me to double my dose starting tonight and back for a rescan on Wednesday.

I’m doing the IVF lite so my medication is a very low dose. I’m trying with all my heart to not let it consume me and tell myself that the medication is a low dose so it’s just going to take extra time but as you can imagine I’m beside myself with worry.

The nurse said that they are still actively growing, just not as fast as she’d expect.

Has anyone else done the IVF lite programme with low medication and been in the same position? I think I’m just looking for someone to say yes I’ve been through this, doubling my dose worked a dream
