I am on long protocol and my 10th day injecting Burserlin, AF made an appearance today & the pain is horrendous. Because of existing cysts and a history of endo whereby I have already had an ovary and Fallopian tube removed , my periods are not fun at the best of times , painful and heavy - but this has knocked me for six ! Had to come home from work which I absolutely never do. Is it normal for them to be so much more painful? Unsure if it’s just because I can’t control it with the likes of ibproufen etc.
Anyone else experiencing the same?

Had you had treatment previously that had thicken up your lining and has resulting in heavy bleed ? If not should maybe call clinic for advice Meantime take it easy - drink plenty of fluid and take paracetamol as required
No I haven’t - think I am just cursed with horrendous periods. Spoken with my CARE team since and they assured it was normal for them to be more painful and heavier during Buserelin & then same as your advice , rest, fluids and paracetamol. So this has reassured me a little despite the pain!
