PCOS & Ovulation

I have been taking metformin for around 7 weeks and finally had a period on NYD! I am now wondering whether ovulation test will work for me?

Hi, they don’t work very well for me but I know they do for lots of women with pcos so it’s definitely worth having a go! I found the clearblue digital ones the best although they are pricey especially if you have a long cycle and are testing twice a day 😅

I have pcos and tend to have a really long stretch of ‘almost but not quite’ positives so be patient & lots of luck xx

Hi Sophiee. Sometimes they introduce Clomid too to ensure ovulation does occur. See what your specialist says and good luck! Diane

Thanks both, I have been using flo app to track. I have taken two ovulation tests one yesterday evening and one this morning both positive!
