For context I had a 4BC+ blastocyst and morula transferred fresh on day 5. I used a First Response 6 days early test. I'm not sure when the 6 days early would be with IVF?? I'm 43
Hope everyone is doing ok and your journey's are going well
Experiences appreciated xx

Thats brave i have managed to avoid testing. My clinic don't recommend testing till 14 days post 5 day transfer with a urine test. I've been advised to try and get a blood test on the 22nd 9 dp5dt because of Christmas. Can't get one so think I'll just try a urine test then. I've got extra meds to do me till the new year anyway. Good luck, hope it turns positive.
Thank you 💜 My clinic don't usually do blood tests but are making an acception due to Xmas, so I've got bloods on Thurs. I always use First Response as that should provide a reliable result well ahead of 14 days. Wishing you lots of luck 🤞 x
Sorry to hear that - was it a First Response? Really hoping it changes for you 🙏🤞See how it goes and test again in a few days. I got the same result at 8 days yesterday. Got bhcg bloods this morning, so that will confirm. This process is heartbreaking xx
It wasn't a first response it was a sensitive one that picks up at about 10 (whatever the unit is). Not holding out much hope. Getting my bloods done at the gp today but no idea when I'll get the results. This absolutely sucks, this journey is not for the faint hearted 💔
Mine is the same I think they don't usually do bloods but will this time however I'm a 500 mile round trip away from mine so not really worth the journey! I've got a telephone appointment with my GP tomorrow to ask them if they will do my bloods on Thursday. Although even if they do them I'm not sure when I'll get the results. Couldn't get any private place to do them because of the postal strikes. You're right about the first response tests you'll definitely get a positive much sooner than 14 days I think the clinics are being a bit over cautious with that! Still keeping my fingers crossed your test turns positive, there is still time 🤞❤️
I've never tested quite so early so unable to advise which day would likely be best to retest, but just for information, transfer day is counted, I believe, as day 0, if that helps.
Good luck and sending baby dust and positive vibes
