I haven't posted in a while. It's been a difficult time with the last miscarriage but have been closely following posts on here and oh my word.. hats off to you all. Many of you have had their rainbow babies and congratulations are in order for them
I'm ready for the next steps in my journey and wanted to ask what or how have people managed to have day 2 or 3 scans during Christmas break. I'm expected to start bleed on 2nd Jan but it's v irregular so it could be end of December or early Jan...which is right during Bank Holidays. Have asked my clinic and they've said they could consider day 1 or 4 but that doesn't solve the problem if AF decides to arrive early...I'm sure I'm not the only person who has this issue.. and so please could you let me know your ideas?? Clinics around London or Midlands are fine to travel to. But need ideas..
Why can't there be one step without stress in this journey!π

Heyy welcome back! Sorry for what you've been through and hope next year brings your miracle into your hands! Can you not ask your clinic to give you some norethisterone to time your period? My clinic here used to give me Norethisterone for 10 days in order to get my period when we wanted it to arrive. Xxx
I guess everyone's body reacts different. Best would be speak to the clinic and share your concerns again they might be able to offer another way to time your period. I'm fine thank you. I've managed to request a hysteroscopy from the recurrent miscarriage consultant so I'm having this done in January and if all goes to plan I'll go to Turkey in April for my next and hopefully last transfer π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€
Fingers toes everything crossed for you.. I hope it all goes smoothly and more importantly you get an insight into why you're having to go through the pain.
Relax and enjoy the festivities next couple of weeks. Try and put it aside and focus on yourself ( easier said than done ). Wishing you the best xxx
That's exactly what I'm doing right now. Taking care of myself, I've decorated the house, getting presents for everyone. I love Christmas way too much so I will definitely enjoy the next few weeks! You try and do the same as much as possible β€οΈπ€π₯°ππΈβ€οΈxxx
Could you supplement with progesterone (if you have any) after ovulation to delay the start of the period maybe? Just like we do in the 2ww, generally you won't bleed until you stop the progesterone. I assume you would rather wait until January so the clinic is back open. Hopefully it all works out xx
Yes, I'll ask the clinic. Last time I did this with a different clinic it didn't work. Plus I'm too scared to mess up with hormones...have been told in the past it's a v fine balance in terms of hormones...I have found a couple of dates different clinics would be open and now just have to hope AF arrives on time. Hope you're keeping well xx
