I'm due to go chrismas shopping today with my sister. I'm 10 days fet. I've only defrosted the car and taken my partner to work. 30 min drive. I feel exhausted. Any tips on a pick me up. I've had my daily coffee. Breakfast is rivita with Peanut Butter and bananas. I dont want to not go and I don't want to be miserable. Any help would be much appreciated. Xx

Hello, I would try & go just to help take your mind off things. Does your sister know your situation? Maybe plan in a few rest stops in coffee shops etc. Even start with a rest after the journey. Maybe a cheeky little cake or brownie as a treat might help as a pick me up. I’m all for healthy diet but little treats too.x Hope all goes well & just come home if it’s getting a bit much.x

Yeah she does which is a god send I'd go nuts with out her knowing. I did end up splitting up the day with coffee shops and nice treats. Main issue was the cold had to get a new winter coat even though I was wearing 5 layers. Had the same coat for years. Terrible cramp. Luckily tkmax had one for -40.

Grapes fix everything. Seriously! Every time I have them they perk me right up 😊 put some in a little Tupperware or bag and snack as you go

I think the daily limit is 200mg, which is about one cup of coffee. If you Google it there are lists of how much is in certain food and drinks. There’s quite a lot in some types of chocolate!

I was under the impression the latest research found there is no safe level of caffeine intake during pregnancy.

NHS website says 200mg

At the end of the day you have to go with what you’re comfortable with and what you feel is right. Personally I’m on decaf but will have the odd cup of proper tea.

Hello , wishing you lots of baby dust. Just take it steady and listen to your body. I had my IVF miracle last year ❤️ A little boy. Regarding caffeine I had 1 cup of tea a day or one coffee a day and a 2nd decaf tea a day. I did this through out the whole IVF process and through out my whole pregnancy. 200 mg is the maximum, the clinic nurse told me not to cut out my morning brew if it made me happy 😃 .
