Hi Cassy, it might be worth asking your clinic or GP for a blood HCG level to clarify. Otherwise waiting a few days might give a clearer answer on a home test. Best of luck, this is such a horrible process xx
Hi Cassy2023, I would suggest you speak to your clinic 1st thing in the morning. Ask them if you can have a hcg blood test (that’s the pregnancy hormone) asap. That will determine what your levels are. From that the clinic will be able to tell whether it is an ongoing pregnancy.
If you are still taking your meds (progesterone etc) then that can delay any period bleeding & therefore lack of bleeding doesn’t necessarily mean you are pregnant I’m afraid.
I’m sorry to say that 1 possible outcome is that this is what we call a ‘chemical pregnancy’ That means the embryo did implant but only briefly & did not carry on growing. It’s technically a very early miscarriage.
I do hope that is not the case for you but wanted you to be prepared.
Feel free to message me if you want any further advise as I have experienced 2 chemical pregnancies myself.
