Update: I properly started bleeding there so i guess game over.
Update: cramps have massively subsided, but boobs still no longer sore. One good one bad sign. Ugh I hate this 2ww but I resisted testing. It’s only 2 more days …
hey guys,
Feeling really down. First week after transfer I ‘felt pregnant’ - don’t ask me how!
then during the next week I had a lot of stress in work so was distracted but then didn’t feel anything different apart from the ongoing progesterone cramping and my boobs were killing me (areolas dark and large as well).
Now 2 days before I’m allowed to test I’ve got very familiar cramps (although also diarrhoea - could be that, but also I’d imagine different cramps right?) but I also have a shoulder pain this morning when I lie on left hand side - I used to get coming up to cycle but now get more constantly when I lie on my LHS (after second laparoscopy it never went t away but funny enough I didn’t notice it through treatment). Also boobs have calmed down and areolas look Norma colour and size!
is there any hope? Anyone had this and still gone on to test positive?

don’t have a similar story to share but I wanted to wish you all the best - it can go either way right now and the only way you’ll know (symptoms or not) is by doing the test. Keeping everything crossed for you xx
thank you - tempted to test early as already down enough thinking it hasn’t worked so an early negative wouldn’t hurt more, but would like to think the hcg from trigger shot was out of body by now so wouldn’t get false positive which is obviously the worst of the two!
am I right in thinking it’s been 15 days since the trigger shot? All depends on whether you want to live in this PUPO bubble a little longer. This period is so rubbish, there’s no right or wrong answer but whatever decision you make, make sure not to kick yourself for it afterwards xx
Being a newcomer and currently suffering the 2ww, what you say sounds scary to me. I told myself not to overthink what symptoms I have and wait for my next appointment date but the truth is 2ww is really terrible. I suggest you can distract yourself by doing hobbies you like. I think it is out of your hands now. You have worked hard so give yourself a pat on your back and try to do things to relax yourself.
please don’t be scared, nothing is confirmed. As my husband keeps saying. I just think I know my body. But also I’d never been pregnant before so I have no idea what the alternative feels like - could be completely the same!
I wish all the luck. Remember that all the signs you feel in your 2ww are actually because of progesterone. That is why symptom spotting can be confusing (we are more alert to the signs after a FET, but they usually are also there with no transference). In the only cycle that worked, I did not feel pregnant at all (got covid, a broken foot and was feeling very sick and stressed, I was sure I was out). So good luck!!! Hopefully you get good news!
