Good morning, first time using using Fyremadel this morning, I’m injecting that one side of by lower belly in the morning, and stims in the evening the other side, does that sound ok?
i picked stomach because I thought I’d keep it all on the same place, easier, but wow she’s stinging like a mother Hubbard! Has anyone else had that, or did I do something bad on my first time 🙈
Thank you xx

ha yes she really is! Sounds like you are doing it just right, it’s just a real stinger!! Heaps of luck for this round x
It happened to me as well, what helped was not to rub the local site and just leave it like that to air dry for about 10-15 secs and then cover it(clothes you are wearing)..Just don't press it or rub it else it will turn red, hope this helps
Yes it is awful. After jabbing it the injection site kinda burns and the area becomes a bit red with warmth. My nurse advised me to use ice compress and it did helped a bit. I also used ice compress after the jab which helped a bit. I just use the ice pack given to me when I purchased my hormone jabs and wrap it with a towel then put it on injection site till the area is cool before I jab it. Then after the jab I put the ice compress at the injection area again to soothe it. When it is less stingy I remove the ice compress.
- local skin reactions at the site of injection (predominantly redness, with or without swelling). The local reaction normally disappears within 4 hours of administration.
Hang in there! It is a very common side effect and having experienced it I totally understand how you felt.
Used it for the first time today. And yes the burning sensation is very strange. Will try an ice pack tomorrow morning. To see if it betters the stinging. Day 6 into injections and getting there slowly. Thanks for your questions and advice on Ivf ladies.
