Hi everyone! I am wondering if you have any special activities to stay positive during IVF. It is easy to get discouraged by statistics and negativity, and the fear of the unknown is very real. I found this great article which discusses: mamasconnected.com/post/sur...

I have tried yoga and meditation. What has worked for you? Thanks in advance!

I've been reading a bunch of new popular books that are more "fun" and I also want to try acupuncture as a form of self care.

Thanks for sharing! I am also interested in acupuncture, and curious to see if it helps.

I’m scheduling in massages and nail appointments throughout my treatment - which my partner is kindly paying for!

It’s really been helping me have things that are positive to look forward to. 😊

I think this is a really good question! I do acupuncture and listen to meditations on circle and Bloom. I think the best thing for me is to talk about how I’m feeling, my fears and any negativity, this seems to help dispel it a bit and get comfort and support. It’s not easy x

I have never tried acupuncture, but am curious as to how it is. How has it helped? Thanks for sharing 💛

I’ve used it for many years. To boost immunity and just for general health. I find it very relaxing. My consultant said if I want to do it during treatment it’s fine.

I did craft stuff and jewellery making to keep my mind busy (and stopped me googling). I also planned little treats for me and my husband like a meal out, trip to cinema and night away etc. Try a new hobby you might find something you really enjoy and plan fun stuff for you and your OH. Good luck 👍

This might not be your thing but I’ve started to learn Spanish 😊 something I’ve always wanted to do anyway tbh… but It’s 2 hours a week that I don’t think about anything other than learning !

Also wanting to do acupuncture and counselling… although currently trying to find a new counsellor as the one Just didn’t work for some reason!

Hope it helps :)
