failed round

Hey, we have just had a failed round of a fresh cycle. I see lots of people say they have had a failed cycle, but never seen anyone talk about how this physically happens. I thought if a cycle failed it would just be like a normal period ...this was so far from reality. I was bleeding so heavy, had clots and the pain was unreal. I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks before and i can honestly say I was bleeding worse at the failed cycle than miscarriage. When i called the hospital they said this can happen. Just wanted to give people this info as i had absolute no clue this was how it can transpire! Obviously not for everyone, some people probably do have a normal period but it was a shock to myself!

Could be your lining in the womb was thicker because of extra hormones in medication - that could result in a more painful period that what is normal for you Sending big hug and good luck wishes for the future
