Hope everyone's coping with this freak weather today! Can anybody share some light on how to calculator due date after IVF- frozen 5 day transfer? My transfer was on the 7th of July and Google tells me due date is 25th March.My gyno said 30th. She said I can have a 6wk scan on around the 5th August. I calculated 30th July. Is she confused or have I lost the plot already?

So I assume EC was 2nd July? 6 weeks pregnant will be 30th July. Due date will be 25th March (38 weeks from EC). Your gynae has the dates wrong (easily done - a nurse at my clinic told me the wrong dates until I pointed it out, then they agreed it was a mistake). xx

Ok, well TBH given the 5d transfer was 7th July it won’t make a difference to dates-effectively your EC was 2nd Jul and period 2w before that. Still think the gynae is wrong 😉 xx
We are exactly the same !! I had transfer 7th & my date shows 25th March too ! I am having an early scan at 5weeks 5days (28th July) have you had your bloods done yet ? I went to the EPU as my official test date isn’t until Wednesday & I was panicking with my history
I'm abroad so I wanted to get my bloods done before I flew home. Had it today and it came in at 1023.09! Gyno laughed and said it might be twins. I had 3 embryos put in. Last of my frozen bunch. Sorry to hear your history has been rocky-same here Hope it all works out for us both. You've officially reassured me, so I think I'll be booking my early scan for the 30th, not later like gyno recommended. I'm a nervous wreck. God help my hubby!x
Oh wow you definitely have twins on the way that number is highhhh ! I had mine done yesterday (10dp) was 350 & I thought that was a good number. Thank you I hope so too, keep me updated 😊 my birthday is 28th July too so it will be amazing if I can see things moving in the right direction. Yes I am the same it’s all I am talking about it’s annoying my fella I can tell he is trying to be patient with me haha xx
Yeah my FET was 8th July. Went off last period 22 June. Due 29th March all being well. Have my viability scan 04 August but offered the week after too x
We were given 3 different due dates and in the end I gave birth 2 weeks early! Perfect little boy x
Yeah 25th of March is the correct one- they shouldn’t be using your last period for IVF they have the exact dates of transfer etc. I mean due date could change at 12 week scan but at this stage it’s defo 25th I f March if it was a 5 day transfer on July 7th. Congrats! Xx
So if your transfer was 7th July, and 5 days old you got back 6 days to day 0 - 2nd July. Then exactly 14 days before is the start of f your “period” - 18th June. This is the date you use for the any due date calculator on the internet. So yes I work it out to be 25th March. She might have got it wrong… the nurse/midwife I first saw (not from the fertility clinic got it wrong and they asked me to get the date from the fertility clinic)
It’s so confusing with ivf ! If you Google ivf due date calculator there’s a few good websites that will allow you to put in when your transfer was and it will work it out from that. I must admit, with both of my babies I was given 3 different dates (had to have a few early scans) but once I transferred onto the nhs scans they gave me their own date based on what the baby measured at 12 weeks. Both came 2 weeks early 🤣 xx
We should just do like France and not have due dates just due 2 weeks because it’s not an exact science. So I guess your consultant is probably correct.
