Raised prolactin during stims?

hi all, please i need your input here..

I have high prolactin due to a small 4mm pituitary microadenoma. I have always been able to maintain the level within normal range (aiming for below 500) but usually i monitor the levels monthly and pre+post stims only.

during my last ivf stims in May, i started injections on day 2 menses, and at day 10 my prolactin has gone up to 1700. Could this be because off all the hormonal injections i was taking for the stims?

Will this high reading affect the quality/quantity of my eggs?

Or should i have kept the levels low even during in the middle of stims?

- the level went down post OPU at day 17 of menses the month after (without me ever changing my regular doses)

Hi diane thanks for your reply.. but the thing is my prolactin level only went up during stims..

and i was on the same bromocriptine doses and frequency throughout the ivf cycle

Hi. Oh that's a nuisance. If you are unsuccessful and it continues, I'm sure they will treat it. Diane
