Anyone ever had to travel with medication that needs to be stored in a fridge? I have got an hour journey and then once I get there I can put the medication in a fridge. Not sure how to travel with the medication though.
Any tips would be helpful.

Hey, our clinic is quite far away so I used to put mine in a cool bag and monitor the temp with a thermometer to make sure it was at the right temperature. Xx
I recently had to travel to a wedding and didn't have access to a fridge for a few days. I used a small travel cold bag by Thermos and a gel ice pack and this worked well. I was pretty concerned as this is my first time doing IVF but had the scan on Thursday and everything was fine.
Morning. I used a diabetic insulin cool pack (available on Amazon or ebay) for keeping my IVF injection cool for a trip to Majorca. It kept it cool for the 8 hours it took between leaving my house and getting to the hotel.Good luck!
The guidance about keeping drugs in a fridge/cool is only so that it can last it’s use by date which could be anything up to a year. My clinic said if the drugs were being used that cycle then not to panic about them being out of the fridge
