11 weeks pregnant, fresh ivf, ovaries pain

Anyone else had pain / discomfort after fresh ivf round at 11 weeks pregnant? My visibility scan showed fluid around ovaries and would be why in discomfort but it’s still going on at 11 weeks.

possibly, there can be late onset ohss but youll get a scan 12 weeks, if concerned see early pregnancy unit/team x

I didn’t have fluid around the ovaries, but my right ovary was massive and it stayed that way up until about 16 weeks pregnant. Every time I had a scan, they pointed it out to me and asked how I was feeling. I was a bit uncomfortable but it was manageable. I did half expect it, as after my egg retrieval I had ovarian hyper stimulation, which got worse once I was pregnant (HCG can makes OHSS worse). So I would say this isn’t unusual at all and it will go in time. Just drink lots of water and don’t overdo it x

Hi Dogreen. Your ovaries have obviously still been active. Hopefully the fluid will reasorb but maytake a couple of weeks. Speak to your midwife/GP. Diane
