I’m ovulating but as I’m single I can’t try for a baby this doesn’t usually bother me but for some reason it’s hit me hard today and I can’t stop the tears. I don’t know maybe if it’s because it’s getting financially hard to save these days so my fertility money isn’t growing as I planned. Anyone got any tips or advice?

So sorry you're having a tough time. I know exactly what you mean though - it feels like such a wasted opportunity somehow 😕 It's very hard going it alone, and you're very strong to be where you are. It's OK to feel sad, but remember to try to be kind to yourself xx
As I’m in a same sex relationship Ive felt the same many times, it’s not that I suddenly want a man 🤣 it’s just our hormones at that time of the month nagging at us I think and it’s frustrating to not at least be able to try while waiting for fertility treatment. I have no advice on the patience side of things as we just stuck it on a credit card 🫣🙈 to be another days problem so I really really admire you saving (as well as going it alone!) sending hugs 🤗 xx
I’m sorry you’ve felt this way before. Yes the hormones are hard but once they pass I feel calm again just got to tell myself it’s temporary. Thank you 😊
Hi Bleum. Oh dear! I think You need to remember that you do ovulate, so you have that reassurance when you can get treatment. Would it be possible to be an egg donor in exchange for treatment?? Might be worth looking into. Good luck when the time does come. Diane
I did this for my first round of treatment and got my now 6 ye old DS. I used the Lister but am sure other clinics offer it too. I think we paid £600 all in. Good luck xx
Wow that’s a big difference cost wise. I’m in Glasgow and haven’t seen anything local yet. I’ve already started my journey with Glasgow Royal Fertility Clinic, basically just waiting until I have the money to continue.
