In my TWW - it’s been 1DPT - had a Day 4 Embryo Transfer .. anyone else?

Any positive 4day transfer stories ? am 1DPT & wonder if anyone else had a transfer around the same time - dreaded 2 week wait & I have no symptoms other than quite a bit of wind (sorry tmi)

Ahhh no way so we are exactly the same ❤️ I am with Care Manchester & they have been amazing up to now - I really don’t know how I’m going to get through not testing early but I’ve had 4 ectopic pregnancies in the past so I know if I test early it’ll make me panic but then I know you can miss a chemical pregnancy too so it’s catch 22 .. how are you feeling ? Have you been resting I am bored already I’ve been horizontal ever since really trying not to do anything x

Ah that’s amazing, I’m with Care Manchester too! 😲 I guess that’s why we both had day 4 transfers, since they don’t do them on Sunday anymore 🙃4 ectopics, that’s horrible! I’m really sorry….

First few 2WWs I was quite good at waiting till OTD, but last time I did test early and kind of glad I did cause we had a chemical, so at least I knew….. will see how I get on this time.

I’m ok, I’ve got a bit of an upset stomach, don’t know if that’s the egg collection or the progesterone - but other than that not too bad. Can’t really stay horizontal as I have a 2.5 year old from previous IVF success…. Trying to cook him a sibling! We’ve already had 3 BFNs + that chemical this time round, so it’s not proving easy but we’re trying again…. 🤞🍀

Is your OTD 21st as well, then? x

Oh no way thats crazy I really hope we both have successfully pregnancies 🤞🏻 Thank you it’s been really rough but I feel like I’m ready now as my last ectopic was 4 years ago so I took time off had fun & now I’m dedicated to getting my baby that I know ill get but just how soon is up to the universe I suppose .. I’m so sorry you had a chemical pregnancy it seems so common that’s why I might test like 2 days earlier just incase & then if it’s negative I only have 2 days of a grim feeling before the OTD - yes mine is the 21st too ! I keep thinking at least it’s only one weekend .. amazing you have a little one already I bet they keep your mind slightly occupied in this TWW - I had a call this morning to say 3 are froze & 3 are in culture so may catch up tomorrow - I’d be really happy for at least 1 to catch up .. have you had any frozen too ? X

Ah that sounds good, good that you had a break and some time to relax…. I’m sure you’ll get your baby 💫 And yes, having a toddler does definitely keep you busy!

3 is great! I’ve not had a call yet today, they said they might call today otherwise tomorrow, I hope that doesn’t mean none were frozen today…. But will see tomorrow - even one or two will be great as we never had big numbers 🤞x

Well they said to me they would call Monday too but I specifically requested a call today as I knew I’d be really anxious so don’t panic - good luck for tomorrow & we will have a positive pregnancy 21st .. 🤞🏻❤️

Hi both good luck with your 2ww’s. I’m day 8 today and considering testing early as I don’t want to miss a chemical if it happens, for info. What is the first (or last) day you’d look to test early to try & catch a chemical if you don’t mind me asking? I don’t want to go to early but not leave it too late! Xx

Thank you 😊 I’ve looked into it & basically 11days after you had your trigger shot is when hcg is out of your system, good luck 🤞🏻 Have you had any symptoms at all ? My boobs are tender but that’s from the progesterone I think - I get scared as I wee a lot so when I put them in I wee half hour after & worry that I’m not getting the full dose x

Thank you. Mine was a medicated FET so no trigger shot so at least I’d know it’s not that. I had nothing except yesterday overly tired and then tummy pains, kind of feels like aunt flow so am starting to feel worried :(. Peeing a lot but it’s the increased water I think. Maybe I’ll go 11days then…so hard as don’t want to miss a chemical but also don’t want to see a negative too early 😢😫 xx

Heya. Thank you! On my last FET I got a positive result on day 8, it held as a Positive till day 13 and then faded - but this is a fresh transfer so testing too early as Greencook said risks you catching to hCG from the trigger shot, so better to wait a little longer … good luck x

Hey, mine is an FET so perhaps I’ll go day 9 or day10 then as no trigger, I can’t face today I don’t think as didn’t sleep well lol. So hard to know what to do for the best 😫 xx

Ahh i can imagine it gets harder I’m only on day 2 & going crazy ! Going to try watch tv & read & stop googling but its easier said than done, hope you have a good sleep tonight x

I’ve just had a call my other 3 embryo’s didn’t make it but I kind of expected that to be honest, they give me the grading of the 3 frozen which is good & I understood more as I asked her to explain, can’t help but feel like shit because I have had a day 4 transfer I feel awful to even say that as some people don’t have any but I need to try keep positive now & hope this one sticks 🤞🏻

Just got a call and they only managed to freeze 1 😕 which is disappointing, I was hoping for 2 or even 3, but there you go. As you say , I’m just hoping the one we have on board sticks 🤞🍀 🙏💫

That’s amazing news, honestly I know so many people who sadly don’t even have 1 at the end to freeze so try & look at it as a blessing we have some frozen, it only takes one & realistically you have 2 as you are going to be having this one with hopefully a another sibling too ❤️ X

I’m so sorry to hear that, it’s so upsetting isn’t it, i know how you feel. Like yo say some people don’t even get that so I guess we should be positive and grateful we got this far 🤞🤞
