After years of trying the conceive, we finally had our first transfer 5 weeks ago. Had a positive test after week 3 was so happy. 1 week later I randomly felt the urge to do another one and it's come back not pregnant. Soul destroying! Is this a chemical pregnancy and has this happened to anyone else?

Not pregnant
It does sound like a chemical and I just had one a month ago…. It’s totally devastating. Sadly very common, though. I’m so sorry 😣
Thanks McQueeny. Sorry you had to go through it too. Xx
They say many women who get pregnant naturally have chemicals without even knowing - they just get their ‘period’ and never know…. Because we test relatively ‘early’ , we find out. It’s completely heart breaking as you get so excited! But we are getting over it and ready for our next fresh round….. hope you’re ok, and wishing you luck a better outcome next time 🍀🤞 xx
I'm so sorry it's heart breaking. May I ask if you still have symptoms?
We had this with our first and only fresh transfer, it was heartbreaking. We decided to take a day of being sad and then focus on the two frosties we had left after that. It still didn't take the unfairness away or pain. We reasoned that the baby could have had so many complications with its health which is why it didn't stay.
But... our second frostie is nearly two and our 3rd and final is currently comfy in my tummy. So we have been lucky 3 whole times. This can happen to you too. All the best to you ❤️❤️🍀🍀🍀
I had one last week. I had faint lines even on OTD so I had to have bloods but it was low but positive so they had to repeat the test which confirmed I had a chemical. So cruel as the positive test gets your hopes up only to be snatched away. I’m still struggling with it . Hope you are ok x
I’ve had exactly the same thing I’m afraid. I tested positive for around 8 days after 4dp5dt… but then began to fade and chemical. It’s been really horrible. I’m sorry if it’s the same thing, sending you all the love. Hopefully another chance awaits in the future x
