I’ve just had my first embryo transfer after 2 year covid wait.
I’m terrible at testing. I’m sorry. But it’s impossible for me not too.
The picture shows yesterday 4dp5dt and today tests. Todays 5dp5dt on left.
I can see very faint lines. Tougher to photograph! I thought yesterday might be evaporation - although both appeared within 2 minutes. But as repeated today I think would it be terrible luck to have two false (very faint) positives in a row… and is there the flicker of hope?
I need independent opinion…
I also did a FR. which looked negative. And please don’t judge… I read another girl had a similar thing so she broke open the tests to see more clearly. Which I did on FR and there was the faintest line too.
I appreciate this is all pointless and won’t change anything!
Thanks for any help
Xx

I’d say they do look positive…..but clearblue aren’t reliable this early. I’d be inclined to go with the FR result but yes you do invalidate them by taking the test apart (we’ve all done it don’t worry!) and being exposed to the air can make a line appear when there shouldn’t be one. You’d be better off shining the light from your phone through the back of the FR test - if there is a very very faint line it will be more visible - good luck 🤞🏻 x
Thank you for your message and the pro tip on the torch. Will try that tmrw. Thank you xxx
Hi! If you didn't had a trigger shot those faint lines are a good sign. On my first transfer this happend to me, had 3 test with faint lines so the odds of evap lines on all were low. Fingers crossed they get stronger and stronger. But you should definitely buy some first response one. It's easier to read the result.
