Stopping IVF round

Hi All.

feeling very low and lost. I have diminished ovarian reserve. First IVF round got 2 eggs and none mature on High stimms. 2nd round on letrozole had 11 folicals at baseline scan, 2 were at 10mm day 6. started low stimms 150 overleap and 0.25 fyremadel to stop ovulate. went in today on day 10 and nothing has happened. Also got a big cyst on one ovary. I've cancelled the round. just so confused 😕. On clomid I had 2 great follicles, but had a chemical miscarriage. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I don't know whether to go back on clomid or give up and move to DE thanks all

Hi i also have low AMH, 2.56 last time i checked. I only get 1 egg per cycle on IVF even when i took climid. did you ever have a fresh transfer after taking clomid.

I think you should try a few more months, you never know the human body can produce miracles. x

thanks so much for your reply. I haven't, we tried naturaly on the clomid. then when I wanted to try ivf with it, they wanted to use letrezole. which worked, but as soon as I started the stimms and fyremadel they stopped growing. its so weird. I think I'll try to get them to try clomd. how r u getting on? x

its strange how our body responds to certain drugs. I am ok, I'm in my 2ww following 2 3day embryos transfer. fingers crossed. I went to greece for IVF as the London clinics were not working for me. xx

Hi, I found this article really helpful - it says that 2 tablets of 0.5 mg of dexamethasone ( steroid) each day during stimulation can help the ovarian response ( it really did the trick in my case since I was a low responder to the highest 450 menopur dosage of drugs)... we managed to get 4 eggs, 2 blastos and one of them is my 7 week old son.. good luck!! 🍀 academic.oup.com/humrep/art... ❤️

thank you for sharing this article too. very interesting however the study was done on under 40 year olds. would it work on a 42 going on 42 year old haha? x

Thank you! Yes, I was on maximum dose of 450 menopur in all 3 cycles and the only thing we added in the third ( and successful) cycle, were 2 tablets of 0.5 mg of dexamethasone each day during the stimulation.., we continued that during the 2WW but that’s because I have high NK cells and that was identified as the possible reason for implantation failures... but for the ovarian response improvement, I think the crucial thing is to take dexamethasone during the stimulation... good luck!!🍀 lots of love and baby dust!!❤️💫
