Finally 5AB embaby on board!

So we had our first FET this afternoon! Isn’t it magical when you see that tiny white spot on the screen? I feel so blessed for being able to experience it. Already feeling so impatient and worried as we were told something that of course, only now that we are at home I am starting worrying about. They said something like it collapsed and then re-expanded which is what we wanted. But “collapsed” is such a strange word isn’t it? Is it bad??? I had my fries and now I’m all warm in bed thinking about what might happen!

Happy transfer day! Mine is tomorrow 😬 I always trust in the specialist, if they transferred it it must have been strong and good to be transferred ❤️

How are you feeling? I was planning to go back to work after my transfer but the closer it's getting the more unsure I am about that...

Thank you! Very happy indeed, i’m cuddling up with my cat now! I work from home so I am lucky on that front, can you do the same? To be honest it is very good to keep busy and carry on a normal life. Wishing you all the very best for your transfer tomorrow, keep us updated! 🥰

Good luck lovely!! Thinking of you, stay with your cat on the sofa and have a lovely relaxing few days. Like others have said, they wouldn’t transfer unless it was doing what it needed to. Banish any thoughts or questions from your mind! Enjoy these moments xx

Good luck! 🤞🤞 And "collapsed" is what happens when an embabie is frozen and thawed from what I understand. Pretty much all embabies "collapse" during this process. The important and very good sign is when after thawing they "re-expand again" and start growing again 😉

Amazing 🥰 wishing you lots of luck! My understanding of the process is that they all ‘collapse’ when frozen and what the want to see is it re expanding when thawed and an even better sign if it starts to grow too! So sounds good xx

Oooooh good luck little embaby. Pregnant until proven otherwise now. That's not offensive is it? When's test day? No, I shouldn't ask- you're supposed to forget all about it. As if! Really really good luck! Lots of love. xxxx

FrancyItaly in reply tottcemmie

Yes PUPO! They told me to test on 11pt, I don’t have any pregnancy tests at home! I’m sure I know the feeling/symptoms if it works. Thank you 🥰

Littlepeax profile image
Littlepeax in reply toFrancyItaly

My clinic wanted me to have my withdrawal bleed and then one period before my FET. I'm still waiting for that one period lol it seems to be taking its time! I'm hoping end of Feb maybe ☺ xxx

Hi I’m ok thank you just about getting by. It’s extremely difficult this new reality without our daughter , although the shock has eased over these last few months it’s now just trying to live without her . not a second goes by where I don’t think of her & how she should be here. Just riding these waves of grief. I have lots of support which has helped. Xx

I remember i was told mine had collapsed but it was 90% or so back up so i assume that could be normal part of defrosting it lol. All the best! Sending you all the baby dust 💕

Congrats! I had a transfer earlier this week and my clinic said one embie (I had 2 put back in) was contracted which I think means the same. She said not to worry as once inside the womb they will expand and just means it was slower for that one to thaw. Sending you baby dust ✨

FrancyItaly profile image
FrancyItaly in reply to

It got 100% expanded before my transfer, I just wondered if this was normal or not. When are you testing? Best of luck!!! x

in reply toFrancyItaly

Oh great! I struggled to really understand what the embryologist meant at first and just trusted what she said 😂. My clinic said to test 9 days after transfer so next week. Last time it was 14 days but that was with a different clinic. When do you test? X

FrancyItaly profile image
FrancyItaly in reply to

They said I should do a home pregnancy test on 11pt, today is only 3pt 🙄

in reply toFrancyItaly

Lol… the days are soooo long!

FrancyItaly profile image
FrancyItaly in reply to

Are you doing blood tests or home pregnancy tests on 9pt? I think I’ll cheat and I’ll it one day earlier 😅

in reply toFrancyItaly

I have no tests at home and not planning buying any. My clinic wanted me to do blood test so have just booked that in x

FrancyItaly profile image
FrancyItaly in reply to

Oh ok, that is why you can do it on 9pt! Hope it goes well hun!!! 🙏🏻✨✨✨ so worried I am not feeling any cramps at all… x
