Clomid

Hi,

I’ve been given a prescription to start taking Clomid for 3 months while I wait for ivf. I have been researching the drug and I have seen a lot of research about birth defects. I have been worried about taking them now, does anybody have any experience with the drug?

I have been prescribed the lower dose due to my ulcerative colitis. I don’t have any issues ovulating I’ve had 6 months of blood tests and ovulated every time.

Hi Chicob29This is obviously worrying you a great deal Maybe you should get back to the clinic who prescribed them for you and discuss it with them before you are due to start them Then you could make an informed choice wither to take them or not
