Getting pregnancy blood tests, but clinic don't offer, any tips?

Hello people, I'm currently 10DP5DT and would like to get an HCG blood test (well 2 ideally) but unfortunately my clinic don't offer these (and they're a 3 hour round trip away as well). So, I'm wondering if anyone has experience of getting a test but not from your clinic, has anyone's GP said yes to doing a test? Has anyone used Medichecks or another similar company?

Thank you!

I’ve used medichecks for lots of things - checking progesterone, dhea/testosterone levels and vit d. They’re really good. Best of luck 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Same here :) I adjusted my vit D intake based on results from Medichecks and then confirmed it was working. Checked hormones as well during FET as was curious about the estrogen levels which clinics don’t test for.

Yes to both of them. My GP has done so many blood tests for me over this whole process and they've been so good (my clinic is also 3-4hours round trip so it has really helped). However, I did begin to feel I was using up the nurse's time and recently went with the online company for combined progesterone and HCG - took a little while as they come in the post and had to go back thay way (plus no weekend testing) but the results were emailed quickly and the comments were helpful.

Thank you hun, that's really good to know, I think I'll give both approaches a try.

Yes. I was having a health check blood and worried about coming off the progesterone suppositories so asked them to include progesterone. She included HCG as part of the same blood draw - so I got to see the levels. They only told me the progesterone was okay but I could see the HCG was high.

I’ve always used medichecks they’re great 👍 have used them for loads of tests and was a good quick turnaround for the hcg tests.
