Update!! Progesterone rectally not as bad

Hi guys so just thought I would update you all.....we had 11 eggs collected .....yay!! 4 of them weren't matured left us with 7 and 5 out of the 7 fertilised!!! Good result! But I'm doing the progesterone pessaries and just wanted to know am I meant to be doing any thing else along with it? My clinic haven't contacted me. I've left messages but still nothing........ tomorrow will be day 3 for the embies so I will get an update on how they are doing ....prayers up!! Transfer day could potentially be this weekend.........but I feel like I am meant to be doing something else along with taking the progesterone pessaries I dunno.....what do u reckon ........baby dust for everyone x staying positive xx

P.s the pessaries are not as bad as I thought they would be thank god. X

I would imagine it depends on your regime. I only have experience of a FET, with that I had the pessaries (agree they are not as bad as I feared!!!) and the oestrogen pills and patches!

It varies by clinic, but I only ever took progesterone between EC and ET so sounds right to me! Good luck! xx

Those are great results. I used progesterone pessaries and I think they were the biggest factor. I was put on lubion injections but not sure they did much (they didn't make any difference to my blood levels) and came down and off them them quite quickly. I came off oestrogen asap as it didn't agree with me and actually caused problems for me as my lining got too thick and uneven on them. So I would have been happy on just progesterone pessaries (vaginally on the successful FET, but I think rectally is standard). But it depends on your particular hormone needs I guess. Oh, and I took aspirin as the consultant said it couldn't hurt. Best of luck!
