Hello everyone. We recently enquired about starting the process again to try for another baby. The clinic we used (scotland) said that they are only doing FET and that fresh cycles haven't started up yet due to covid We don't have any embroys left over so would need a fresh cycle. Hearing that made me so sad for everyone waiting on a fresh cycle as i know time is against alot of people. Is this the case everywhere or just scotland? Wishing everyone all the best of luck. Xx

Hello, I had 3 fresh cycles in London starting last June, so it's not the case here. You might want to ask another clinic as it sound a little odd - maybe your regula clinic has a long waiting list due to the covid backlog.

I'm in Scotland and had a fresh transfer in June. Sadly ended in missed miscarriage but am currently on my second fresh round. Did have to wait 6 months for my first round due to covid waiting lists though.

That is good to know. Maybe need to shop around so to speak. I had a really postivie experience with my clinic so wanted to go back. Tomorrows to do list is to give some a call! Thank you xx

In England there is no issues. We had a donation cycle started in February 2021. I’m now 37+ 5 today

Hello, I’m in Scotland too and have just finished a fresh cycle, my understanding is that most have started back up. Wishing you loads of luck xx

I think it might just be your clinic. I had my first cycle of IVF which started in summer this year and it was obviously a fresh cycle. That unfortunately ended with me having to go through medical management as the embryo stopped developing, so I’m just awaiting a start date for my next cycle at my clinic in Dundee as we didn’t have any left to freeze.

They are doing fresh cycles at both the Glasgow clinics, I personally know people who have started the process post covid (self funded and nhs) xx
