Hi everyone. I have just started 2nd attempt at IVF, am injecting 75ui ovaleap. (I think this is pretty low 🤔). Reason for writing really is my anxiety is through the roof this time and I’m worried it’s going to affect our chances. I had OHSS last time and found the whole process so traumatic. They took 18 eggs, 17 of which fertilised but had all disintegrated by day 3. I’m not sure if it’s that we’re paying this time round but I’m finding the pressure intolerable! Anyone have any tips?!

Ovaleap Anxiety
Hi Dory1988To help your anxiety levels think it would be a good idea for you to ask your clinic to go over why your are using ovaleap this time - write down all your concerns so you don't forgot to ask the correct questions .
Good luck
Hi! I had my 2nd round of IVF and I had Ovaleap 200iu but they changed my dosage to 150iu because I developed OHSS. Had 15 eggs retrieved, 12 fertilised and 2 made it to day 5 and frozen. So I understand your anxiety but the problem isn't the dosage, is about how your body reacts to the treatment and doctors aim for quality not quantity. On my 1st attempt had 6 eggs, 3 fertilised but they died by day 3 soooo on my 2nd attempt I tried to be more relaxed, not to think to much of what's happening and go with the flow. Stress and anxiety are bad for the eggs that are starting to grow.
