Started stims today!

[Jam-master]

Haven’t been on in a bit, but starting another cycle after a break. Started down reg’s on Wednesday and stims this morning! After having one successful fresh transfer and 3 failed FET’s I’m back on the rollercoaster. I lost my marbles a bit with the last round so hoping I can stay sane this time but already stressing about how many eggs their going to get 😬

Anyone else at a similar stage?

Fingers crossed my dear! I just finished with stims and egg retrieval. We have 2 blastocysts frozen. Hope you have many many healthy eggs that get to day 5!!!! Many prayers🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰

Thank you so much! I just remember how naive I was last time, I didn’t have a clue, now I know too much, I miss those old days lol. Well done on your 2 wee frosties! Are you doing your frozen transfer soon?x

I start after my 2nd period comes. In about 5 weeks. That's what my doctor suggested because I got overstimulated and my ovaries need to go back to their normal size.

Morning Jam-master, slightly behind you as I’m waiting for doctors to tell me when I can start the next cycle. Just out of interest, how long after your failed FET we’re you able to down reg?

I think I could have started after my next normal period, I chose to have a few months off and enjoy the summer though.x

So my last egg retrieval was 5 years ago as I had a successful fresh transfer from that but it was the subsequent FETs that failed. So this time I’m doing PGT-A just to try and give us a better chance. I literally didn’t do anything last time round for the fresh transfer apart from stopping alcohol and taking a multivitamin, I didn’t have a clue.! That’s why this round I’m trying not to do too much extra stuff. I know a lot more by now obviously but I think that’s worse 🙈 I’m taking a better prenatal this time, and when it comes to FET stage will have raspberry leaf tea, pomegranate juice and Brazil nuts but that’s it. Like I say, trying not to go to crazy. What stage are you at?x

Ah I see! That’s probably a very good plan 👍🏼 Keep it simple. Fingers crossed for you ❤️I’m 16 weeks now, finally had success on our 6th transfer with a PGT embryo and steroids 💖 xxx

I'm slightly ahead of you I think as I am on Day 10 of stims. I am likely to trigger on Wednesday or Thursday and have egg collection on Friday or Saturday. I am likely to have a fresh Day 3 transfer if I am blessed with embryos to transfer this time! All the best with yours. I hope it goes well and results in success for you!
