A couple of days and then I was back to normal. Don’t panic and your body will normalize!

Oh my god they should definately put that in big letters on the paper work that was the worst bit of the whole process for me by miles. It just lasted a few days but I was about greetin 😂 heaps of injections no problem … constipation 🤦‍♀️

I had it really badly! For me it Was the most physically uncomfortable part of the ivf process. I spoke to the clinic and they said I could take an over the counter laxative which worked they next day. Double check with your clinic on what you can take. Mine was so bad that I couldn’t just wait around as I couldn’t even walk. It should sort you out. After taking 2 sachets it was better and didn’t re-occur.

For me it never really went away as I then started progesterone pessaries, which made it worse.

I ended up using lactulose from over the counter on advice from the clinic.
