Gender cannot be determined by the grade of your embryo, I am afraid. It can be both a boy or a girl 🙂Now you will have to wait 🐱

There is some evidence that slower blastocysts are more likely to be female hence why IVF has a slightly higher ratio of boys being born as clinics tend to prioritise the stage 4 and 5 ones ro out back first

My fastest blast was a girl, same for my two friends 😂 x

My clinic doesn’t give you the grades, unless you specifically ask for them. I think more clinics are taking that approach as I think it can add extra stress if you think it’s a bad grade but in reality they all can make babies ☺️

I know she was a day 5 hatching blast, good enough to freeze and PGS normal xx

You are right- they are all good. I’m in Canada it’s illegal to know the gender apparently. My hubby and I are praying for a healthy baby. A girl would nice.

Grade 3 are approx. 60% girls, grade 5 are 60% boys, and grade 4 are about 50/50. So no guarantees either way! xx
